Should I be in the house while you are working?
For an interior Re-design we like to unveil the room fully completed to our clients so that the ongoing design process doesn't impede the homeowner's reaction to their newly redesigned space. In some cases it helps to have the homeowner present throughout the re-design process. A friend or neighbor can be present if it makes you feel more comfortable.
Will you change my furniture, artwork or accessories in any way?
During the initial consultation, we go through the space with the homeowner to learn what pieces are important and to get a general feel for the homeowner's style. Working with the homeowner, we ensure that much loved items are not edited out of the final design. Our intent is to help you find your unique style with what you already have.
Will I have to buy anything?
Not necessarily. We try to use just what you have, but sometimes a few key pieces are needed.
What is a Color Consultant and what do they do?
A Color Consultant is trained to find the right color palette to achieve a harmonious flow throughout your home. A color consultant can address the common decorating myths about color and select the perfect wall and accent colors which will appeal to your personal tastes.
What does a professional organizer actually do?
An organizer provides services, information, assistance and resources to individuals who wish to take control of their time, their surroundings and their life. They guide clients through the de-cluttering process and help them create order.
How long does it take to organize a room?
It depends largely on the client's present level of organization or disorganization. If the client is willing to be an active participant in the organizing process, the project will be completed in less time and with less cost.
